Wedding Photography at Pennyhill Park Hotel, Bagshot, Surrey

I have been photographing weddings at Pennyhill Park Hotel in Bagshot, Surrey for 8 or 9 years now. I have shot dozens and dozens of weddings and events there, all times of the year and under all conditions. The smallest wedding I have photographed at Pennyhill Park was just two people – the bride and groom, with a hotel manager and myself acting as witnesses :) The largest wedding? Getting on for 220 friends and family.
It’s a beautiful place to get married or to host your wedding reception. There is a long winding drive from the A30 through a tree lined area adjoining the golf course to Pennyhill Park Hotel itself. The original building was a 10 bedroom manor house now extended and expanded to some 140+ rooms. There are several rooms in the hotel licenced for weddings from the modest (The Fairway) to the quite huge (Windsor & Eton). The Library deserves a special mention, it’s a very atmospheric room, part of the original Victorian Manor House the suite retains the charm and character of the original country house. With the original stone fire place, wood panelled walls, stain glass windows and beautiful antiques it has been carefully restored and preserves all the character of time when it was built Overlooking the grounds and golf course, the suite is enhanced with an antique glass conservatory with doors leading out onto the terrace and lily ponds where guests can enjoy pre-dinner drinks and photographs. It’s a beautiful room to get married in, I love photographing weddings that are held there. When I was interviewed by Lorraine Kelly on GMTV about wedding photography a few years ago, the filming was carried out in the Library at Pennyhill Park. You can see this interview at the bottom of this page.
