Queens Eyot Wedding Photography
Queens Eyot Island is an unusual venue for a wedding reception. It’s a small island in the Thames not far from Windsor (about half an hour by boat) and you can only get to the island by the water. The venue has a small ferry to convey you to the island so for that reason there’s an unusual feel to the place.
On a summers afternoon it’s a wonderful place to photograph, there’s enough room to go for a little walk amongst the trees down to the waters edge and take some pictures of the two of you. Some couples opt for a short boat ride (if they haven’t arrived that way and again, that’s a lovely time to take some memorable photographs.
The wedding meal itself is held in a marquee on the island – nice and spacious and room for around 150 people I think (best to check with the venue first).
These images are from Alex and John’s wedding, they had a church wedding in Windsor at arrived at Queens Eyot by boat.

I hope you enjoyed my Queens Eyot wedding photographs – please email if you are getting married there; I would love to show you some more of my work.
