Bradfield College Wedding Photography

Bradfield College near Reading is obviously a full time school but they hire out their premises at weekends for weddings. It’s an unusual location because of that, the huge main dining hall is reminiscent of an Oxford college – dark and cosy, panelled , timbered and hung with portraits.

Outside there is space for welcome drinks and canapés  in the quadrangle and garden and they have a couple of other rooms there for socialising and mingling before the wedding meal.

These images are from Eleri and Rich’s wedding last December. I photograph weddings year round and obviously there’s a different feel to the wedding photographs taken at that time of year. What’s important, photographically speaking, about winter weddings is that there is sufficient space inside for everyone. That’s not a problem at Bradfield College of course thanks to the main hall which can be decorated in a couple of different styles. They will also organise a marquee should you need more space
