Aldermaston Manor Wedding Photography

Aldermaston Manor is a short drive for me and I have worked their many times over the past fifteen years. It’s an old red brick Gothic styled building, blessed with ample grounds that run downhill to the lake. I love photographing there as there are so many corners and interesting architectural details that make a wedding album photographed at this beautiful venue instantly recognisable. The clock tower and 17C chimney stacks (below) dominate the exterior.

The rooms are nice at Aldermaston Manor as well – plenty of room to get ready for the big day. These images are from Louise and Neil’s nuptials last summer. One nice thing about Aldermaston Manor is that you can do the ‘big group photo’ inside as well as outside (see down below) thanks to the large reception area and the balconies that overlook it.

The library is great to get married in, not least of all because the bride gets to make her entrance through a false door in the wall covered with book spines. Childish I know, but I like it. The dining area can extend into this room as well if needed. Plenty of room for larger wedding parties.
