Today was good for December, cool but no rain (not until the evening) and pretty much perfect for Eleri and Rich’s wedding in Sulham and Bradfield. The day started for me at E & R’s beautiful timbered cottage in Tilehurst before heading for the church.

Not surprisingly I have *no* ambitions to shoot video professionally (one quick look at the footage will tell you why)! but I hope that you find it useful if you’re planning a wedding next year. Comments? Please let me know via the button below.

Peter and Linda got married today at Highfield Park, near Hook in Hampshire. I like working at Highfield Park, it has fantastic view across the countryside and on a crisp December day like today, the light is clear and sharp and makes for some interesting images.

Today I helped out at the school fair by photographing the visitors to Santa’s Grotto!

OK, so I am no video expert and more wooden than Pinocchio in front of the camera but I thought it would be fun to shoot some video interviews with my favourite wedding suppliers. We’re kicking things off with wedding magician Simon Alexander who’ll be telling us a little about how he entertains at weddings. You can find out more by visiting his website.
